Safeguard® Ethanol Fuel Conditioner With Stabilizers

Lucas Safeguard® Ethanol Fuel Conditioner with Stabilizers was developed to specifically address issues associated with using ethanol based fuels. This applies to E-10, E-15, E-85, pure ethanol and any mixtures in between including gasoline. Our Product is completely soluble in all ethanol fuels and will not harm filters. Lucas Safeguard® Ethanol Fuel Conditioner with Stabilizers contains effective additives to prevent rust and corrosion associated with the use of ethanol fuels.

Safeguard® treats up to 80 gallons(302.8) of ethanol fuel. One ounce treats five gallons of ethanol fuel. Our new 5.25 oz bottle treats up to 25 gallons (94.6 liters) of ethanol fuel. Recommended for use in automobile and marine applications.

Directions For Use

Add one (1) ounce of Safeguard® Ethanol Fuel Conditioner for every five (5) gallons of fuel. 30 mL treats 18.9 L of fuel. An over treatment will not be harmful.

The difference is very noticeable

Ethanol fuel regardless of the type has several drawbacks. Two key ones are the loss of horsepower in high outside ambient temp weather and normal cool weather. I have used Lucas's [Safeguard] Ethanol Conditioner about 5,000 after my purchase of my 2005 Ford Escape 4wd/3.0L with 20.000 +K Mi. The difference is very noticeable. There are several steep hills in our area that require you to accelerate up to 4,000 RPM to maintain 65mph. With Lucas I can maintain the 65mph with only 3,000 - 3,500RPM. This now saves a little on the pocketbook on gas purchase. When you use this product plus Lucas's Deep Fuel System Cleaner every 6 months you have a winner for engine performance.

I’m a customer for life

I used your ethanol fuel conditioner back in the October of 2022. I dumped half a bottle of it in the tank full of E85 and let it idle longer than normal because I was checking for leaks. No leaks and off I went across the street to my neighbors. Unknown to me right after I put in gear the rear main seal blew dumping oil all the way down my drive and all the way up my neighbors drive. Once parked I saw smoke coming up through the hood, I jumped out looked underneath and saw flames. Oil from the seal got on my crossover pipe and started the fire . We extinguished the flames out quickly and in disgust I parked the car in my barn for the whole winter and spring. After replacing the rear main seal I fired up my turbo 6.0 LS and purred. So about 10 minutes of runtime with your product saved me from the hassle of removing my injectors and cleaning them. I'm a customer for life. Thank you Lucas Oil!
