INDIANAPOLIS, IN (Apr 18, 2025) – Ahead of the highly anticipated 2025 season of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), Lucas Oil, the global leader in high-performance automotive additives and lubricants, today announced its increasing support of women’s professional sports. Building on its longstanding partnership with the Indiana Fever, Lucas Oil will work with its partner ANC to introduce digital signage inventory with two additional premier WNBA markets in New York and Dallas.
This expansion comes as the WNBA is poised for substantial growth, driven by rising viewership and an enhanced fan experience. Lucas Oil’s increased involvement underscores the company’s commitment to supporting sports outside of racing across the nation, having established notable partnerships with leading sports organizations such as the Indianapolis Colts, the Dallas Cowboys, the Indiana Pacers, Monster Jam, and venues like Lucas Oil Stadium. Lucas Oil is especially proud of its growing presence across the women’s sports landscape, as the company continues to champion women in the workplace, whether in the auto industry, the boardroom or on a basketball court.
“Supporting women in sports is one of the most impactful ways we can champion excellence, create equity, and drive powerful change,” said Katie Lucas, President of Lucas Oil. “We have proudly championed female athletes for more than 15 years through our partnership with our hometown Indiana Fever, and this expansion deepens our support of the league and commitment to furthering women’s success in sports at a pivotal moment. By investing in exceptional teams and athletes, we honor their achievements, amplify their stories, and inspire future generations of leaders on and off the court.”
Lucas Oil’s commitment aligns seamlessly with the growing prominence of Indianapolis as a national sports hub. The city continues to solidify its position as a destination city for women’s sports, hosting the WNBA All-Star Game this summer and the NCAA Women’s Final Four in 2028.
Lucas Oil will introduce new broadcast-visible digital signage campaigns at Barclays Center in New York City and in the Dallas market. ANC, the company’s visual display and digital signage agency for more than a decade, continues to provide strategic collaboration and innovative promotional initiatives to amplify the visibility of women’s athletics and deepen fan engagement nationwide.
“Recognizing the growing power of women’s sports and its passionate fans, we saw a clear opportunity to increase brand awareness in Dallas and New York markets this year. We’re thrilled to help drive this new momentum forward for our longtime partners at Lucas Oil,” said John Obropta, Chief Revenue Officer of Advertising at ANC.
