INDIANAPOLIS (September 10, 2024) – Ascension St. Vincent Foundation, we are pleased to announce new leadership to our Board of Directors for fiscal year 2025, including the appointment of Katie Lucas as Board Chair, Scott Bove as Treasurer, Cali Moore as Secretary, and the addition of six new board members.
We are grateful for John Murphy and his exceptional service and dedication as the outgoing Board Chair. John has significantly contributed to the Ascension St. Vincent Foundation since joining the board in 2016. His leadership roles have included Chair of the Governance and Executive Committees and serving as a member of the Care for Tomorrow Campaign Committee supporting the Women and Infants Hospital expected to open in late 2024.
Katie Lucas will serve as the new Board Chair for two years, bringing her extensive experience and passionate commitment to the organization. A dynamic member of our Board of Directors since 2017, Katie currently serves as the President of Lucas Oil Products. She has previously held the roles of Board Secretary and Governance Chair and has contributed to the Auction, Executive, and Care for Tomorrow Campaign Committees, along with numerous volunteer roles in the community.
Katie’s leadership is exemplified by her efforts in leading the annual Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament, which has raised over $1.7M for Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. Additionally, as a Founding Member and inaugural Chair of Called to Care, a Circle of Impact including compassionate women in the community who serve, support and raise awareness for Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, Katie has demonstrated a deep commitment to the hospital’s Mission, patients and families.
