INDIANAPOLIS, IN (Jan 22, 2025) – Lucas Oil, the world leader and distributor of high-performance automotive additives and lubricants, is proud to announce that Katie Lucas, President of Lucas Oil, has been named the winner of the Exemplary Service Award for the 2025 Champions of Diversity Awards. Katie received the award for her work championing equity within the Lucas Oil Corporation as well as her support to charitable organizations which provide support for diverse groups within the community. Now in its 18th year, this year’s Champions of Diversity Awards honored 25 different leaders and organizations who have shown their dedication to equity through their support to the community.

In addition to her role as President, Katie leads all of Lucas Oil’s philanthropic and community engagement endeavors and was recently named the Board Chair of the Ascension St. Vincent Foundation. She also sits on the boards of the Indianapolis Zoo, EDGE Mentoring and the Grit & Grace Nation Foundation. She is on the National Leadership Council at the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation, Indiana University Women’s Philanthropy Leadership Council and a Founding Member and the Inaugural Chair of Called to Care, a Circle of Impact for Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
One of the service organizations directly supported by Lucas Oil is Wheeler Mission. As the largest and most diverse ministry of its kind in Indiana, Wheeler Mission works to help those experiencing homelessness by providing shelter, meals and personal care to men, women and children from all backgrounds. Lucas Oil has been involved in Wheeler Mission’s annual Drumstick Dash and Jane Seymour’s Foundation Gala, both which help raise funds for the Mission.
Katie was honored along with the other award recipients at the 2025 Champions of Diversity Awards Dinner on January 17th in Indianapolis.
