INDIANAPOLIS, IN (Nov 20, 2024) – Lucas Oil, the world leader and distributor of high-performance automotive additives and lubricants, celebrates Antron Brown’s fourth NHRA Top Fuel World Championship and first as a team owner at the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals. The championship at Pomona was not only a personal milestone for Brown but also a shared triumph for Lucas Oil, which has supported his remarkable journey from winning driver to team owner.
“Lucas Oil has believed in Antron from the very beginning, and we couldn’t be more proud and excited to celebrate this incredible achievement with him,” said Brandon Bernstein, Director of Partnership Marketing at Lucas Oil. “Antron is a true example of how passion and perseverance can pay off. We’re proud to support him, not just as a championship driver but as a team owner and friend. We look forward to many more thrilling races and championships together.”
Brown, who has been a Lucas Oil brand ambassador for nearly two decades, launched AB Motorsports in 2022 with Lucas Oil as a founding partner. Lucas Oil has been instrumental in supporting AB Motorsports since its inception, providing financial and technical support to establish Brown’s team as a force in NHRA competition. From providing advanced lubricants to collaborating on performance optimization, Lucas Oil’s partnership has been a hands-on and integral part of AB Motorsports.
The weekend saw Brown overcome immense challenges, from weather delays to facing stiff competition in a stacked Top Fuel field. Brown’s tenacity and the AB Motorsports team’s resilience led to an electrifying championship win, his 80th career victory, in the final round against outgoing champion Doug Kalitta.
