Corona, CA (August 22, 2018) – On Saturday night, August 18, at the Sauk City FFA Alumni Park, WI, before 2000 excited fans, Travis Hoesly barreled his “Give Er the Beans” 2-wheel drive, 23 T Ford Bucket to victory in the Modified Truck division at the Badger State Pro Pulling event.

Hoesly, a 15 year Pro Pulling veteran driver from nearby New Glarus, WI, read the track perfectly and piloted his “Lucas Oil Give Er' The Beans” 2-wheeled Super Modified Truck to an unmatched 323 feet.

“We drew the Number One spot,” said Hoesly. “I knew the track was going to be tricky and to make a good run we needed to go gently on the accelerator at the start and then ‘let her go’. The tires were right, the weight was right, and we were very smooth from start to finish.”

The Super Modified Two-Wheel Drive Truck division of the Lucas Pro Pulling League use supercharged and alcohol-injected drag racing-type engines awing the crowd with their power. Their weight transfer characteristics often result in towering wheel-stands at various points along the track. These machines can weigh no more than 6,200 pounds, and require a deft driving skill to keep them pointed straight within the white lines.

The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League is the premiere pulling series in the United States featuring Super Modified tractors, Pro Modified Four-Wheel Drive trucks, Super Modified two-wheel drive trucks, Pro Stock tractors, and hot rod semi-tractor trucks. The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League showcases the most extreme vehicles and the most talented pulling drivers in the world.
