Lucas Oil Partners with Kyle Busch and Son Brexton for 2025 Chili Bowl and Tulsa Shootout

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (Jan 3, 2024) – Lucas Oil, the world leader and distributor of high-performance automotive additives and lubricants, announced its continued support of Two-time NASCAR championship driver Kyle Busch, and his multi race-winning son, Brexton, as they get set to compete in the two biggest dirt open-wheel races in the world – the 2025 Tulsa Shootout and the 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals. This marks the latest chapter of Lucas Oil’s support to the father-son duo, both of whom have notched several wins at major races across the country. Kyle and Brexton have been Lucas Oil brand ambassadors since 2023.

Kyle first competed in the Tulsa Shootout in 2021, and Brexton followed in his dad’s footsteps in 2022 where in his first attempt he finished just two positions away from earning a spot in the A-Main event. This year, both drivers are back to compete for the event’s top prize, the coveted Golden Driller Trophy, in a field of more than 1,800 entries.

“The Tulsa Shootout and Chili Bowl have become very special events to me and my son Brexton, and I am thrilled to fly the Lucas Oil colors in these legendary races,” said Kyle Busch. “I love the format of dirt racing, but it puts a lot of stress on your equipment which is why I trust Lucas. Hundreds of race teams rely on their products at local tracks across the country, and we’re ready to show everyone how Lucas Oil helps us get the most out of our race cars each and every lap.”

Brandon Bernstein, Director of Partnership Marketing at Lucas Oil said “Sprint car and Micro racing produces some of the most exciting grassroots racing action in all of motorsports, and we are thrilled to be supporting Kyle and Brexton as they put their exceptional racing talents on display in Tulsa for both of these iconic races. Showing our support to the father-son duo speaks to the core of what Lucas Oil is, a family-led company dedicated to delivering the best oils, additives and problem solvers to everyday drivers and championship motorsports athletes. We can’t wait to see their talents on display at both of the amazing events.”

The 40th annual Tulsa Shootout began with hot laps on Dec. 31 and continues all week where the champions are crowned on Jan. 4. The 39th annual Chili Bowl Nationals run from Jan. 12 to 18. Both races are held at the mecca of open wheel dirt racing, the SageNet Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and fans can follow the racing action live on FloRacing.
