Lucas Transmission Fix Fixes Lag in 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo

My 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo had a slight transmission lag in the shift pattern over time. The car has 125K miles so I started to look for a maintenance solution. Local mechanics advised against getting a transmission machine flush service. They recommended removing 24 ounces of the old fluid from the transmission and replace with Lucas Transmission Fix. Followed that advice and what an immediate improvement I noticed. The car shifts smooth with no lag, this is an excellent product. I am sold on Lucas products.

My '02 Chevy Cavalier coupe is definitely one of the nice looking ones still around, except that I noticed some play in the transmission at around 98,000 Miles. Even after a flush and fill with new transmission fluid, I would get hard shifts and a delay in kick down. 12,000 miles later, the car shifts and operates better than when I purchased it.

About a year ago, I got a transmission flush in my 2005 Mercury Sable. However, upon doing so, it became apparent that the vehicle had never had the ATF changed in its 145,000 mile lifetime. So, all the clutch material that had basically allowed the tranny to operate normally was gone. The car would not stop bucking and slipping.
