2004 Chevy 1/2 Ton 4x4 5.3 Liter Gas uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer

This vehicle started having valve train noise and lower oil pressure when approaching the 3000 mile point on oil change at approx. 50,000 miles. I believe was starting to have a bearing failure.

Last incident using Castrol GTX 10-40 Oil. A little over 3000 miles (61427 on odometer) oil warning buzzer came on guage indicated 5 psi oil water 205 F. Shut off and let cool. Arrived in Buffalo with oil pressure around 20 psi at 2000 rpm.

Changed Oil , (checked on cost of new engine), added 1 qut of Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer and filled with Shell Rotella 15-40 Oil. Oil pressue at operating temperature and 2000 rpm going down highway indicated at 50 psi. Pressure at 3000 rpm 65 psi.

I am hoping to prolong the life of this engine to budget for an engine failure that I feel is inevitabe.

I am interested in the performance of the product and the outcome of the experiment.
