When we got out of the car we noticed right away that almost all of the noise was gone!

My son's 2005 VW GTI with the 4 cylinder turbo and 127K miles on it sounded like there hammers inside the engine. The car was close to needing a oil change so I bought a quart of High Mileage Oil Stabilizer. He changed the oil adding the stabilizer started it up and we took it for about a 8 mile drive. When we got out of the car we noticed right away that almost all of the noise was gone! I own a 2008 Ford F`50 with a 5.4 engine and 137,000 miles. Over the past year my engine developed the Ford death rattle. It's known as cam phaser problems. This was when pulling a trailer at low idle. I decided to try out Lucas High Mileage Oil Stabilizer additive.T his was 12,000 miles ago, and I am amazed at what it has done to my engine noise.
