Lucas Synthetic Non-Conductive Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil is formulated with pure base oils and an additive chemistry that provides excellent oxidative and thermal stability. It provides excellent wear protection and reduces deposits and sludge. It contains an effective foam inhibitor which minimizes foam. Dielectric strength of 38 kV makes it an excellent non-conductive fluid. The minimum value required is 35 kV. Dielectric strength is extremely sensitive to humidity and contamination. Once the containers are opened, the dielectric strength cannot be expected to remain at its original value. Containers should be kept tightly sealed and stored in a dry environment.
Recommended for use wherever non-cinductive fluids are required, Typical uses include cherry pickers and firetruci snorkels. High flash point reduces danger of fire.
Satisfies the performance requirements of: US Steel 127, 136; Denison HF-0, HF-2; DIN 51524 Part II; Vickers I-286S, M-2950-S; Cincinnati Machine (Fives) P68, P69 and P70. 38 kV according to ASTM D877 (dielectric strength).
I also have added it to my old Briggs and Stratton 5 hp engine. It smokes really bad, since adding it has cut it down 80 percent. It has made believers out of us. Thanks
