Don M. uses Lucas Fuel Treatment in 2002 Cavalier Z24 / 16v DOHC

I have a 2002 Cavalier Z24 with the Ecotec DOHC engine. It is currently just short of 86,000 miles and I've been trying to do all I can to keep the car in top shape.

I saw your products at SUMMIT RACING and decide to get my feet wet with the LUCAS FUEL TREATMENT. I'm on my second tank of gas treated with LUCAS, and while I can't comment on increased fuel mileage (yet), particularly with the 'winter blend' gasoline I'm being forced to use, but a few things are certain. There USED TO BE a mild (valve) clatter occasionally at startup, especially in cold weather if the car had sat for a day or two. I haven't heard it siince I first added the LUCAS. Secondly, the car definately pulls stronger and more smoothly than before. I wish LUCAS made a lighter-weight engine oil so I could have a total LUCAS fill at my next oil change, but I can guarantee that your SYNTHETIC OIL STABILIZER will be replacing a quart of oil my next change.
