My daughter has a 2006 Mercury Milan 6-cylinder. It has 110,000 miles on it and she mentioned to me last week that it sounded like it was shifting weird from 1st to 2nd. I took it for a drive and noticed it was starting to slip just a bit coming out of first (shift flare). A couple months ago my 2011 Malibu started having transmission issues. My transmission was slipping and it was slipping really bad, I went to my local AutoZone and picked up a thing of Lucas Transmission Fix fluid. I drained some of the transmission fluid and replaced it with the Transmission Fix fluid. After I replaced the fluid I never ended up having any issues with transmission slipping. I just want to say thank you!! I had two or three codes from my transmission relating to solenoids and wiring etc. I was having very rough shifting and slippage.
