About a year ago, I got a transmission flush in my 2005 Mercury Sable. However, upon doing so, it became apparent that the vehicle had never had the ATF changed in its 145,000 mile lifetime. So, all the clutch material that had basically allowed the tranny to operate normally was gone. The car would not stop bucking and slipping. I had a 2001 suburban that would flare between 2nd and 3rd and slipped really bad when warm. I changed fluid and added 1.5 bottles of Lucas [Transmission Fix] and now even leadfooting it it shifts amazingly no slips or leaks, thanks Lucas!!
