Lucas Transmission Fix Works Miracle on Ford Contour

My old 1997 Ford Contour with 144,000 miles starting slipping while I was driving on the Interstate. Car would slow down while engine revved higher/ Nothing I did changed the problem, shifting into 3rd ect. I was told I needed a new Transmission. I purchased a bottle of Lucas Oil Transmission Fix yesterday and put it in my 1981 Corvette collector car I recently purchased at a Mecum auction in Fort Worth. The car has the TH350C automatic with the locking torque converter. The car is all original right down to the last nut and bolt and had spent its entire life indoors when not being driven in perfect weather. I’ve driven it about 500 miles since I purchased it and noticed recently that when in park and idling the transmission whined a bit, kind of like a needle bearing starting to show some wear. I started researching your product because of the Lucas reputation and bought the Transmission Fix product and added it yesterday afternoon and immediately the whine went away but as I drove it I realized that was just the tip of the iceberg. It shifts so smoothly that it almost feels like it has a CVT transmission in it. When the locking torque converter kicks in that is a lot smoother as well. When I shifted it from park to either reverse or drive the first few times I thought the shift linkage had broken it moved so smoothly. The motor seems to not be under near as much stress idling in park or going down the road and a lot of just overall noise is gone from the car. It was one of those kind of deals where I didn’t realize the noise was there until it was gone. Thanks for what you do!

This story goes about 20 years ago. I was on a vacation with family and we were driving our 1990 Olds 88 (FWD). We had gotten to our destination and the CV axle seal on the driver side had completely failed and leaked out quite a few quarts of transmission fluid.
